Blogtime
Let’s face it: blogs are the best new thing since sliced bread. So it’s just natural for FEM to direct you toward what we think are the best feminist blogs out there. Blogs are all about having our voices heard, no matter how much they deviate from the norms. Remember that many of these blog writers have faced harsh criticisms, disrespectful comments, and even violent threats. We should support them by tuning in to their thought-provoking content because we might just learn something. Below is a list of some of our favorites. Check back often for other suggestions.

The daily life and musings of one of the greatest comedians out there, Margaret Cho!
The perfect way to give in to your guilty celebrity gossip pleasure and still get your daily dose of political and social news, Jezebel describes itself as “a blog for women that will attempt to take all the essentially meaningless but sweet stuff directed our way and give it a little more meaning, while taking more the serious stuff and making it more fun.”

An insightful blog from some of the brightest progressive feminist law professors out there, Feminist Law Professors is great for those interested in the legal profession (check out the helpful list of feminist law professors by law school) or just up for an intellectual perspective on relevant feminist issues.
A personal favorite of many feminists, Feministing provides a platform for young women “to comment, analyze, influence and connect.” Feministing is updated frequently and deals with feminist issues ranging from politics to women’s health to pop culture.
