Everywhere we turn women are still not being given the respect they deserve and we need to have our objections heard. Yet it is also important to celebrate those times when women make steps toward equality. The opinion pieces featured within this section are written with the hope that we will provide alternate perspectives on many cultural topics. We all have those moments when we hear or see something that immediately makes us jump for joy or cringe with horror.
