Melissa van Gelder – Editor in Chief

 Melissa is a fourth-year majoring in women’s studies with a minor in  education studies. Originally from San Francisco, she hopes to travel  the world and live in as many countries as possible. When she’s not  spending hours in the Fem office, she works as a Peer Learning  Facilitator for the UCLA Undergraduate Writing Center and volunteers  with the Bruin Belles Service Association. In her spare time she  enjoys reading mysteries, cooking, running, snowboarding and  spending time with friends.
